Farm to Fame
Just after graduating with his Bachelors of Science degree in Strategic Communication, Steve quickly found himself working in the fast-paced world of professional sports. Amidst many other things, one of the projects Steve was tasked with was writing for the Chicago Cubs VineLine (the Official Magazine of the Chicago Cubs).
Steve's writing focused specifically on players coming through the South Bend Cubs (High-A Affiliate of the Chicago Cubs) to give readers an insider look at the young talent in the Chicago Cubs' farm system. Each article included interviews, creative writing, and strategy calls with the Chicago Cubs marketing team.
